Smoking. Do you like being constantly under someone elses control? Constantly having to obey? NO? Well why put your life in the controil of tobacco? Do you like having to make sure you have enough cigarettes in case you wake up and want one in the night or have to make sure you have a supply in case the shops are not open? Do you like stanting outside work or the pub while others talk and laugh ? It is time to re-gain your freediom from smoking!

There cannot be anyone in this age who does not know smoking is bad for them so why do people smoke? this question is even more confusing when you understand that the subconcious mind act to protect you. The point is that the subconcious is getting something that it believes is beneficial. Many people smoke to relieve stress or calm their nerves. This is a little strange since nicotine is one of natures insecticides and is anextremely toxic nerve irritant.

Some people stared smoking to fit in with other people often at school and others may have had parents who smoked and so they grew up thinking it was thre norm. There are people who are a little shy and smoke socially so that they can be one of the crowd. Some people say it gives them confidence, some say it reduces stress.

Do you think you are addicted?

Think again. How is it you can smoke all day then sleep without needing a cigarette for several hours without waking up? That would be a strange addiction. It is just a habit and bad habits can be broken.

I have tried giving up smoking before and failed.

Patches and Gum (not very effecctive at all. According to Freedom from tobacco 93% of Niotine patch users fail within a half year) They may temporarily cover up the effect of nicotine but they don't cover the pschological component of smoking. Without smoking, patches or gum nicotine is cleaned out of the body in around 48 hours. With nicotine replacement you are constantly reintroducing nicotine to your system which if you think about it would be a rather strange way of trying to stop an addiction. the NRT excuse is that the dose is being reduced but then if that worked all you would have to do is have the will power to smoke one less every day. This rarely works because it requires willpowe.r

What if I can't do it?
